Felted Tweed

A beautiful everyday sweater with a feminine pattern covering the body and sleeves. The pattern is inspired by Dutch porcelan and it is one in a series of three. It is knitted in Felted Tweed from Rowan Yarns which gives the garment a discreet melange tone.

Rowan Yarns, Felted Tweed (50% wool, 25% alpaca, 25% viscose, 50 g, 175 m/191 yds)
COL1: Stone 190: 3 (3, 4, 4, 5) skeins.
COL2: Ancient 172: 3 (3, 4, 4, 5) skeins.
COL3: Clay 177: 2 (2, 3, 3, 3) skeins.
COL4: Cumin 193: 2 (2, 3, 3, 3) skeins.

NEEDLES
3 mm/US 2.5 and 3.5 mm/US 4 circular needle (40/16” and 80 cm/32”) and DPNs (and possibly 4 mm/US 6 if you work stranded colorwork with a tighter gauge).
 
NOTIONS
Yarn needle and markers.

GAUGE
22 sts in stranded colourwork in st st using 3.5 mm/US 4 needle measures 10 cm/4” across.
22 sts in st st using 3.5 mm/US 4 (or 4 mm/US 6) needle measures 10 cm/4” across.
